I didn’t hear about this perfume, and I never saw it explained as a dupe. I originally bought Hawas for Her, because I’ve been obsessed with Sol de Janeiros 71 and was trying to find sweet, cloying scents. That most think are disgustingly sweet. So Hawas was my girl! And I thought I’d look up more of their scents because I loved Hawas so much. Then there it was… I pictured a Jasmine version of Hawas! And that’s exactly what this was & more! My first boyfriend didn't like the smell of my jasmine oil, so he took me to buy a bottle of "real perfume".... What a beautiful jewel!!! At first, when I first sprayed it, the top notes seemed overwhelming as it felt as if just one spray started to fill the room and my nose got a little overwhelmed. Good thing I left it at one spray on my wrist, because that one spray was just to test how the fragrance would perform on my skin and I am glad I started that way. I did one little spray on my left wrist at 9:00 pm, by 10:00 am the fragrance had just started becoming a skin scent. This is a beast and I am sure it would have lasted 24 hours if I had not taken a shower before then. I had to delete my initial review for this because my bottle finally settled from transit - and my opinion on this fragrance has taken a complete 180. I truuuly despise this!

These are different scents, and it's probably a fluke, but I am testing them side by side and on the skin they are very similar. In both openings I get a chocolate gardenia with orchid. In the dry down, I get hazelnut in CP but not in La Yuqawam Femme. I just received this today, after seeing it being so hyped-up on Youtube. So I will follow-up with a more elaborate review later after a proper wear, but for now I have to say that my very first thought after the very first sniff was: Carolina Herrera Good Girl (which I own and I wear).I scrubbed and scrubbed. Couldn’t get it off. Took two showers. Actually even went swimming. It was still there.

That being said, I am amused by all the statements about it smelling like jasmine “oils”. The natural scent is almost never extracted by enfleurage anymore. There is only jasmine absolute of various types. And yes of course this soliflore will smell similar to them, that IS the whole point of a soliflore is it not? That is why Montale names it JASMINE FULL no? And what kind of jasmine are we referring to? Jasmine grandiflorum, Jasmine sambac, Jasmine auriculatum…? One of my aunts, the older sister of my father, used the most perfect perfume I've ever smell. I have no idea which one it is; in fact, my perfume collection started because I was searching for her perfect perfume. That amazing essence impregnated everything she touched, and it mixed with all the gifts she gave me. This is my new favorite scent! This right here is the exact Jasmine I look for when looking for perfume! The Jasmine Wisp woman is a young, modern, cosmopolitan dreamer with a love for discovery. The lovely trail of the fragrance heightens her inner confidence while enveloping her in an aura of sensuous mystery. The long lasting fruity floral fragrance brimming with happiness and promise is ideal for woman with a vivacious personality, one who is always at the centre of attention.Jasmine Wisp, women fragrance of LaYuqawam, pays homage to the famed Middle Eastern tradition of elegant intoxicating fragrant trail; a la scent signature that announces a weaver much before the arrival while leaving behind a mysteriously lingering aura. A distinctive white floral vanilla scent laced with generous ambry pear juice and hints of citrus along with appetizing notes of Bourbon vanilla, coumarin and maltol giving the scent a gourmand touch. The accentuated note of amber with strawberry imparts it an irresistible young, vivacious and feisty signature while the sweetness of Anjou infused with overwhelming floral scent of the Starkrimson pear gives it a sensuous appeal. Ambergris Shower epitomizes minimalism, fantasy, and the quest to explore unchartered territories. It evokes harmony, luxury, timeless elegance, peace and balance. Created for a confident, sophisticated man, the perfume is the perfect choice for those looking for a unique and timeless signature scent. Being the authorised dealers of Rasasi perfumes, customers can expect original Rasasi products, which means, no copies or imitations. After purchasing both Ana Abiyedh and Amber Oud Gold, and sampling Kirke, I finally caved and bought Erba Pura. This thing is just in another league. I have worn Jasmine Wisp every day, non-stop for the last week because I just cannot get enough of it. It stunk so bad I was nauseous for hours. I have a stomach of steel too, so to have to go lie down for HOURS feeling on the verge of vomiting? If was a nightmare.

I personally dislike the heavy, cloyingly sweet Bvlgari Noir with its monstrous wallop of tonka beans, licorice, patchouli, and musk. It is unbearable to me and thus a completely unsuitable substitute for the Montale here. Besides, that one is an oriental floral and this is a pure floral soliflore. I don’t see a point in making a comparison at all anyway. Voile de Jasmine was a pale mix of faint jasmine, mimosa, musk, and citrics on my skin, very weak in comparison to this sumptuous soliflore. I know there isn’t sandalwood listed, but that’s ALL that came through on my skin. Deep, loud, and screeching sandalwood. I cannot handle any kind of sandalwood; I’m not sure if I’m slightly allergic or just way too sensitive to it. Erba Pura is so nice and playful it’s a youthful scent. When I smell it, I vision a person that’s cool with anybody and puts a smile on everyone with their jokes and their presence. Kirkè would be someone that’s a bit more serious but still very playful. You get what I mean? From the moment Erbapura graces your skin, it is a journey into a realm of unparalleled beauty. The opening notes unfold with a burst of freshness that is nothing short of divine. Crisp citrus nuances dance alongside lush green accords, setting the stage for the symphony of elegance that is about to unfold. They are similar to the point that they both are fruity, and that’s it. If you say those 2 are similar then you could also argue that all vanilla fragrances are also similar.
